CTEzero formalises our commitment to creating a safer workplace and delivering safer equipment, with one clear goal: zero harm, every day, every job.
The programme guides the behaviours, decisions and standards that shape safety across CTE. From apprentices to management, every team member is accountable for their own safety and that of those around them. CTEzero brings this commitment together through four pillars: leadership and culture, capability and training, standards and accountability, and safe by design.

Leadership & Culture
Safety starts with leadership and belongs to everyone. We encourage our team to raise concerns and stop unsafe work, making safety a shared responsibility at every level.

Capability & Training
Ongoing investment in safety equipment, practical training and recognised certifications equips our team to work safely and confidently. Training includes role specific requirements such as forklift, truck, scissor lift, dogging and first aid.

Standards & Accountability
Clear procedures and shared accountability help prevent incidents, with everyone at CTE, from apprentices to management, responsible for upholding safety standards and protecting their colleagues’ wellbeing.

Safe by Design
Safety informs every stage of our engineering and manufacturing, from operator-focused design to the guidance and training that support safe equipment use, extending our responsibility beyond the workshop.
Safe in Trained Hands
Our responsibility doesn’t end when a build leaves our facility. Every CTE product is supplied with a comprehensive operating manual, and we offer hands-on operator training to help users understand how to operate their equipment correctly, safely and to its full capability. By equipping operators with the right information and practical knowledge, we help reinforce safe operating practices in the field.
