Trailers

Engineered to carry, built to last

CTE trailers come from the same thinking that made our tilt slides the benchmark: equipment built for the job, not for volume. Every trailer is designed by our in-house engineering team and built at our Drouin facility in Victoria. Each one is engineered to Australian Design Rules and finished to the standard operators expect from CTE.

BUILT ACROSS OUR RANGE AS STANDARD

Our heavy transport trailers carry excavators, forklifts, cranes, containers and specialist loads Australia-wide. Each starts with how the operator works: what they carry, where they go and how they load. We then configure axles, decks, ramps, restraint and storage to suit. The result is a trailer that loads easily, carries securely and keeps earning for years. Every CTE trailer deck is floored in Hardox wear plate as standard, for strength and wear resistance that lasts the life of the trailer.

  • Hardox wear plate flooring, up to 6mm thick on the working deck.
  • Profile-cut coamings up to 12mm thick, with integrated tie-down slots.
  • Floor tie-down points positioned to suit your loads.
  • Heavy-duty construction featuring fully strapped main rails and high-grade structural steel.
  • Widening and extendable configurations available across the range, subject to the specific model.
  • Air suspension, automatic slack adjusters and Electronic Braking System (EBS).
  • Plug-and-play LED lighting kits available in 12V, 24V and multi-volt configurations.
  • Oversize signage, warning beacons and compliance markings fitted and ready for the road.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT TRAILER FOR YOUR LOAD

Every load presents different transport requirements. CTE’s trailer range offers configurations for varied machinery, loading methods and operational demands, with options to tailor the deck, running gear and equipment to your application.

Dropdecks

Designed for varied machinery, CTE dropdeck trailers feature separate upper and lower decks to accommodate different loads and loading configurations.

Super Tilts

Designed for machinery that cannot be driven on, CTE Super Tilts combine a fixed top deck, tilting main deck and hydraulic winch for controlled loading.

Floats & Low Loaders

Designed for heavy and oversized machinery, CTE floats and low loaders feature a low deck height to provide additional clearance for taller plant and easier loading.

Tag Trailers

Designed to extend carrying capacity, CTE tag trailers can be paired with a tilt slide to transport two machines in a single trip.

DROPDECKS

CTE dropdeck trailers feature a raised top deck and a lower main deck, giving operators flexibility when transporting different types of machinery. With multiple axle arrangements, hydraulic ramps and configurable storage, each build can be tailored to suit the equipment being carried and the way it needs to be loaded.

  • Tri-axle or quad-axle configurations with 17.5-inch or 19.5-inch running gear.

  • Top deck and main deck with different ramp configurations.
  • Hardox wear plate flooring: 4mm on the top deck and 6mm on the main deck.
  • Hydraulic rear ramps with float position on the ramp controls.

CUSTOM TRAILER SOLUTIONS

Not every transport requirement fits a standard configuration. CTE’s in-house engineering team works directly with operators to develop custom trailers around their specific applications, from specialised deck layouts and loading systems to integrated equipment such as cranes. Each design is modelled in 3D before manufacture, engineered to Australian Design Rules and built to CTE’s established quality standards.

If you can describe the job, we can engineer the trailer.
