Every CTE build reflects the people behind it. Our team of more than 25 does everything in-house, from reception and administration through sales, finance, procurement and engineering, to the fabricators, auto electricians and painters on our workshop floor.
Most of our workshop team was trained here, and they’re guided by long-serving leaders who started on the tools themselves. That continuity is how we keep our quality consistent from one build to the next. We keep investing in it through ongoing training, nationally recognised certifications and an apprenticeship program that keeps the next generation coming through.

Managing Director
Stijn brings over two decades of strategic leadership and a track record of transforming organisations. In 2025, he took over from founder Darren Cook, continuing the legacy built and carrying it into CTE’s next phase of growth. Stijn leads the business with a clear focus on investing in people, product and capability, while preserving the quality and craftsmanship that define the CTE name.
Engineering Manager
Ben heads up CTE’s engineering capability, making sure every custom solution we deliver is properly engineered and fully compliant. With two decades of mechanical engineering experience, including an earlier three years at CTE, he keeps us ahead of ADR requirements and drives innovation in how our products are designed and built. Customer and production feedback goes straight into Ben’s design work, so each build improves on the last.
Sales Manager
Mat brings 20 years of transport industry experience to CTE. He began his career as a diesel mechanic then moved into truck sales, spending more than a decade at Scania before joining CTE. That combination of hands-on technical grounding and deep sales experience means Mat understands our customers’ operations from the ground up, helping them find the right solution for the job.
Production Manager
Brad is a CTE story in himself. Over 15 years with the business, he has worked his way up from apprentice to Production Manager, building deep technical expertise along the way. Respected by his team and trusted by our customers, Brad combines first-hand knowledge of how our products are built with the leadership that keeps our workshop performing at its best.
